No sound from Built-in Output - SoundID Reference iMac i7 Sonoma

1

Standalone App for Mac standalone App for Mac (iMac Intel i7 / Sonoma 14.4.1):
I can hear the "Built-in Output" test sounds: “left” / "right" while adding this device but then... no sound, no signal, and the sound bar doesn't move.
It works nicely with any other external USB audio interface or Bluetooth headphones.
I've tried to uninstall and install it again but the problem remains the same: SoundID Ref. doesn't send audio to the Built-in Output :(
Is it a hardware compatibility issue?
Thank You!

Hi sluchetta, thanks for reaching out, sorry to hear there is some trouble.

I can recommend checking out some common issues that cause no sound/no signal with the SoundID Reference described here: [MAC] No sound / no calibration effect

In addition, I also suggest checking that your built-in output device is not muted in Mac Sound settings and Audio MIDI settings. As a note, I want to note that there is a known issue with low volume in some cases, so checking on the volume settings for both your output device and SoundID Reference is recommended, more details here: [MAC] Low volume in the SoundID Reference standalone app

I've checked everything but I still have this problem.
As I said when I add the output “Built-in” I can hear the “left/right” audio test so the volume level and the interface are OK.

The external USB audio interface works perfectly.
