Distance between speakers/distance from listening spot wildly off

I've tried running the reference measurement a few times now and every time the distance of the speakers are off and the distance from the listening spot is ridiculously off. The software claims that the speakers are 1'0" apart from each other (They're actually 3'4" apart) and the listening spot is and inch or two from the speakers (which is waaaaaay off). Sometimes the manual adjustments don't actually reach the correct distance, so it doesn't really help…what's going on here?

Another question I had was about the measurement portion. During the actual measurement segment, Is the center the listening position? Because I had to move way behind my listening spot for the mic to be located in the center.

Help!

Hi stephennavarrete, thanks for reaching out, sorry to hear there is some trouble with the measurements.

While this may sound like a trivial suggestion, I would really recommend following our troubleshooting guide to make sure that everything has been set up properly, see it here: Stereo speaker measurement troubleshooting guide (it is a rather comprehensive guide, but it is worth looking through it).

If there is an issue with the measured distance between speakers, some specific tips for this error can be found here: The software measures wrong distance between speakers
