After installing sound ID Reference coreaudiod stays at over 100% cpu usage

After installing I noticed my fans were moving at top speed and never slowing down with no applications open.  I even quit the soundID app, and tried disabling on startup with a reboot.  I checked the activity monitor and "coreaudiod" and a soundIDhelper (or something like that) were non stop using tons of CPU.  coreaudiod over 100%, and the soundID background thing nearly an additional 50%.  It's clear one or both were burning tons of clock cycles...

I uninstalled the app and the driver and now the computer is quiet and idling like it should.

Hi,

We wanted to provide an update on the high CPU issue some users are encountering on macOS 10.14 and 10.15 versions.

With the release of a new SoundID Reference update (v5.10.0) on March 26, 2024, SoundID Reference will no longer support macOS 10.14 and 10.15. If you have encountered the high CPU issue on your device, please visit our support guide for more information on OS version support drop and issue workaround options here: [MAC] CoreAudio and SonarworksASPProxy high CPU (on macOS 10.14 & 10.15)
