It's been 2 weeks, and my other post about this in the "General Discussion" forum hasn't received a response from anyone at Sonarworks, so I'm posting it here too.
Not only is SoundID Reference logging me out every few weeks and constantly attempting to connect to the Internet (an insane 811,839 firewall blocks as of right now), but now it's caused me to accidentally screw up the mixes of several songs by logging me out and disabling calibration without my noticing.
This needs to be fixed, and by that I don't mean making the program pop up to alert users they've been logged out or something – just make it stop logging users out.
There's no legitimate reason for audio calibration software to require constant Internet access – not to download profiles that should just be a part of the program; not to update, which can be done manually through the website or the downloader program; and not to gather usage statistics or whatever else SoundID is trying to do.

Hi josh.losey, thanks for your post! I responded to your initial post as well.
As I gathered from your initial issue description, connection to SoundID Reference is being blocked, which most likely will also result in the software not being able to confirm the license status, thus stopping the software from working. An offline mode for SoundID Reference is not available at this time, but it can be used offline for 10 days, after which, the software will ask you to confirm the license in order to continue using it. For more details on using SoundID Reference offline temporarily, see here: Using SoundID Reference offline I'm afraid there is no workaround for this and an internet connection would be required in order to validate the license status.
I appreciate your getting back to me, but you're not telling me anything I can't see for myself. What I want to know is this: why is it limited to only 10 days of use, why does the program need to continually verify the license after the initial verification, and does Sonarworks have any plan to remove these restrictions? This isn't some subscription-based software that needs to verify that people are paid up before allowing them to use it. Like I said before: it's only audio calibration software – even my DAW doesn't behave like this. It's like Sonarworks is paranoid about piracy, and now users have to suffer for it. Please let someone know that people want the option of a totally offline version of SoundID.
