Hello, I recently purchased the virtual monitoring add-on and am extremely disappointed. As soon as I activate it, the sound quality deteriorates significantly. It sounds overly equalized and is plagued with phase issues, making it unusable and significantly inferior compared to alternatives like Waves NX. Has anyone else experienced these issues, or is it supposed to sound like this?

Yes the sound changes significally, more than with simple crossfeed. It takes some times to get adopted. But than the sound realy changes to virtual monitors for me. This is different to listen to headphones, which is intented. Best way to evaluate is, first calibrate your ears to a set of calibrated near filed monitors for some times, than compare to virtual monitoring. I use individually calibrated headphones.
Yes also tone color changes, but is consistent with my clibrated monitor set. So I was supprised, how the calibrated headphone sound was wrong in bass region for some recordings.
