If you are launching SoundID Reference for the first time:
- Download and install the SoundID Reference software
- Launch the SoundID Reference app and either 'Sign in' to your existing Sonarworks.com account or create a new account via the 'Sign up' option (detailed instructions here)
- Once you've logged into your account, to activate a license, click on 'Activate license', you will be redirected to your Sonarworks account
- Add your license activation key to the 'Register your license' section (detailed instructions here)
- Click on 'Activate on this device' button and launch the app when prompted in the browser
If your free trial has ended and you have purchased a license:
- Launch the SoundID Reference app and click on 'Register license' to go to your user account
- Log in to your account
- Add your license activation key to the 'Register key or code' section
- Click on 'Open app' / 'Activate on this device' button
If your trial is still running and you have purchased a license
- Launch the SoundID Reference app and go to ⋮ Settings > Go to my account
- Log in to your account
- Add your license activation key to the 'Register key or code' section
- Click on 'Open app' / 'Activate on this device' button
Offline activation
Offline activation is not available in SoundID Reference yet.

SoundID Reference
after trial had expired i purchases from Sweetwater the full version, receiving a registration code. i entered it into my account.
when i try to start SoundID Reference or Measure the applications don't start. when i open the VST plugin in Cubase or Wavelab they crash.
Win 10 64 and the latest DAW versions.
